After 3 years of playing many shows and making music under the name of ”Ziggy Stardust” it’s time for me to change the name…
Because of everything going on at the moment, my management and i wanted to make sure that we were able to use this name legally to avoid any conflict.
Some of you might know that the name ”Ziggy Stardust” comes from David Bowie.
So we personally asked David Bowie’s management for permission to use the name.
Unfortunately the request got denied by David’s management so we we’re forced to change the name. We respect and understand their decision because it’s David’s legacy and trademark.

After days of thinking and brainstorming i have decided to change the name into ”ZIGGY”. I didn’t want to make it to complicated so i’d rather keep it simple and straight.
After all it is my real name as it’s written on my passport. So everything will be changed into ”ZIGGY” for the next few days! All youtube videos, Facebook, Soundcloud, twitter and even beatport will be changed.

The deal is an incredibly exciting development in Nicky Romero’s career. The young producer’s charismatic personality, good looks and natural talent have made him hot property in recent months, this new deal is an early indication that he will be a 2012 addition to the ranks of the new breed of superstar DJs.

The track pays tribute to Flo Rida’s 2011 smash hit, Wild Ones, taking the talented Sia’s vocal contribution and combining it with some irresistible big room hooks.

This time it’s the very first EP from Sjoerd Ijpelaar, better known as Suyano. Suyano is a Dutch based DJ and producer from Breda, the city where boys like Hardwell, Tiësto and R3hab also grew up. His sets are full of energy and have a unique style. His style could be described as a mix of progressive, electro and house. Suyano already got support by the big guys like Hardwell, Gregori Klosman, Congorock and Max Vangeli.

Suyano’s first ep is released was February 13th at Nope is Dope records which some of you might know from their events. If you’re in Holland and you want see him live at don’t forget to come March 18th to the opening season of Nope is Dope at the beach at Beachclub Vroeger.
